The 2013 BMW X6 is a Sports Activity Coupe that combines the versatility and
usefulness of an SUV with the agility of a much smaller car. Its interior is characterized
by a distinctive look with sculpted single-seat design in the rear to seat four. It also has
BMW's xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system.
It is available in two trims: the xDrive 35i and the upgraded xDrive50i. The standard
xDrive35i is powered by a 300-hp 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, while
the xDrive50i has a twin-turbo V8, generating 400 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque.
Both engine feature direct fuel injection and are combined with an eight-speed Sport
automatic transmission, also with Steptronic manual shift mode and steering wheel
paddles. BMW's Dynamic Performance Control is standard on this vehicle, distributing
drive force between the rear wheels and enhancing its sporty handling characteristics.
The 2013 BMW x6's exterior is equipped with 19-inch aluminum wheels, a power
moonroof, power liftgate, bi-xenon adaptive headlamps. Inside it has automatic climate
control, leather upholstery, and HD radio. The x50i trim adds multi-contour seats and a
voice activated navigational system, including DVD video capability.
Safety is paramount in any BMW vehicle. The 2013 BMW x6 has anti-lock brakes,
Dynamic Stability Control with traction control and rollover sensor, front and rear parking
sensors, tire pressure monitor, and multiple airbags.
The 2013 BMW x6 has a powerful and fuel-efficient base engine, an outstandingly fast
upgraded V8 engine, capable handling, and solid construction. The slightly reworked
front fascia and new LED taillamps are great cosmetic changes for the new model year.
